As a technology company with a team present in more than 14 countries, we faced common industry challenges: Maintaining team motivation, reducing turnover, implementing efficient feedback processes and making decisions based on data.

We found the solution at home, with Groowcity, a tool developed by our team which quickly became an essential component of our organizational culture.

The Challenges: Talent, Metrics and Feedback

The growth of CleverIt brought with it an urgent need to consolidate internal processes that promote continuous feedback, objective performance measurement and the strengthening of the team's key competencies.

Before implementing Groowcity, our main challenges were:

  • Disconnection between employee skills, performance and training data.
  • Lack of clear metrics to evaluate performance and organizational climate.
  • Difficulty collecting and analyzing useful data without investing hours in cleaning up information.
  • Need to automate reminders and improve participation in internal surveys.

Groowcity as a continuous development platform

Groowcity is a SaaS platform developed by CleverIT to measure, evaluate and improve the skills of IT teams. Its adoption as an internal tool was a natural step, driven by features designed to transform the talent experience, such as intelligent automation of reminders about pending surveys, an integrated Likert scale for measuring multiple dimensions, and centralizing key information for each collaborator.

Implementing this new tool was a joint effort between our development team and the leaders of the Talent area, including key stages such as:

  1. Defining and prioritizing key features, such as personalized questions and anonymous surveys.  
  2. Optimizing the database, with downloadable structure ready for analysis without the need for additional cleaning.  
  3. Iterative tests by modules, adjusting notification flows, permissions and viewing results.  

The collaborative work ensured that Groowcity not only responded to CleverIT's needs, but also adapted to our processes and culture.
