This time, our client is a mining giant in Chile, with an important position in the international market. At that time, the company had a login system for its applications, but it needed an integrated system that would allow the creation of a centralized database.
Prior to working with CleverIt®, our client constantly suffered from loss of data from its registered users and the high cost of implementing a different login for each application developed. The arrival of our team with Microsoft tools, therefore, was more necessary than ever.
Seeking to solve our client's pain, a new version of the login was developed under the Azure AD - OnPremise Federation and the SAML protocol, which allowed us to generate a single point of access to the client's different platforms, for all types of users and including two-factor authentication. Our objective was, on the one hand, to standardize the login, but also to integrate it with an architecture in the customer's Azure platform that complied with all the company's cybersecurity regulations.
Throughout this mission, we realized that the infrastructure was not prepared or quoted in the customer's dependencies, because we built the environment within our own Azure platform and was migrated at the right time. The SAML protocol, in addition, was something that was requested very close to the final delivery of the product, but they were obstacles that we were able to effectively overcome thanks to Microsoft technology and the knowledge that our team has of them.
Despite this, the client's organizational culture already considered agile practices, so working with Azure DevOps on the project made it possible to manage the lifecycle of the applications and build and deploy them through Pipelines without any complications.
Thanks to the work with Microsoft, the customer now has an MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) system for the login of their applications, both for internal and external users of the organization. Every user's life is now easier and more efficient, that's what technology should do for people.
